CSL Weekly call to action

This is an article that discusses hunger and poverty. It explains that we could possibly give the homeless and the poor money to be able to afford food and shelter. The article then discusses that this might not work because the homeless people might use the money for other things such as drugs, or alcohol. The article also discusses how we as a community could provide more jobs, and higher wages, to the homeless and poor. It discusses how and why it would be difficult for a homeless person to maintain that job (especially if the homeless person had a mental disability). It mentions that workers cannot support their families, and their lives on minimum wage, or a part-time job. The article itself makes a very valid point: There will always be some people who cannot work, or simply don’t.
